Group Bookings
If you are planning a gathering but are not quite sure where to go or what to do, we would love to host your group at the studio. It’s a popular choice for family groups and work-dos, team away-days, celebrating birthdays, graduations and retirements, and everything in between. Everyone is welcome and pottery painting or clay suits all ages. You are welcome to bring food and drink and make it a proper event.
You can book a private room for those wanting a quiet space or privacy, which seats up to 16 people, by clicking the ‘Book now’ button at the bottom. To book a private room we charge a £120 deposit which is deducted from your bill on the day. For larger groups or to book on a day or time that we are not usually open, please call us for availability on 07792541149 or email info@thisartofmine.co.uk
Children’s Parties
If your child loves getting creative then this is the party activity you have been looking for. We have a dedicated party room so you have your own space and you are welcome to bring balloons, snacks and cake to enjoy too. Parties last 2 hours and can be booked using the ‘Book now’ button below. To book the party room we charge a £120 deposit which is deducted from your bill on the day. For parties over 16 people, please call us for availability on 07792541149 or email info@thisartofmine.co.uk
You can choose for the group to either do:
Pottery painting: There is a large selection of items to choose from and you decide which price range you would like the party-goers to choose from. In the £12 per person range there are smaller animals and ornaments, in the £18 per person range there are larger animals and cute cups, and in the £28 per person range there are large money boxes, plates and mugs. The pieces will be fired and ready to collect 1 week later. Once fired, the items will be shiny and dinnerware items can be used for food and drink; or,
Air Dry Clay: Make their own designs out of air dry clay, and they can then take them home on the day. Each child will be provided with a ball of clay, an inspiration sheet, and a selection of tools to help their creations come to life. Once air dry clay has fully dried (which can take up to 7 days) it can be painted with most paints. Please note air dry clay is suitable for ornamental designs only, and will not be suitable to use for food or liquids.
We recommend children’s parties are best for ages 7+, and due to limited space we suggest the other parents drop their children off, enjoy a country walk or visit one of the many local pubs or cafés.
Hen Parties
Having a hen party at the studio is a great way to enjoy something a little bit different, have a laugh and spend some time catching up with everyone. We have a dedicated 'party room' so you will have your own space and you are welcome to bring decorations, food and bubbles to enjoy too.
As well as working on your own pieces, many groups choose to paint a piece together (perhaps a large plate or teapot) made by the whole group for the lucky couple which can be a nice gift too. We require a £120 deposit to secure the booking, which will be taken off the final bill on the day. All our pottery is individually priced, you simply select the piece you want from the shelves. Pottery items start from £12 (for the smallest) and go up to £60 for our very large items. Mugs, bowls and plates are between £18-38. We have hundreds of items so there is something for everyone’s budget. Firing, paints and studio time are all included in the price.
